Good Morning. I have a problem in RetrorangePi 4.2 Full, the hdmi audio comes out in EmulationStation, Retroarch and Kodi, on the other hand the Desktop does not output audio. When using the bashtool> ropirca tool, and selecting the second option, audio will exit the Desktop and not exit in other environments. Would you like to know how to make the audio work on both simultaneously? I apologize for my English and thank you in advance.
I posted the same problem some days ago.
No solution for now.
I switched back to 4.1
guys, its a bug we'll probably fix into the next release, as Pulseaudio may be the step forward
Okay, let's wait then. Thanks again for your attention.
Good night!

I was able to make the audio work like this:

$ sudo su

# cd /etc/pulse

# nano default.pa

Change in first line

#!/usr/bin/pulseaudio -nF

to

!/usr/bin/pulseaudio -nF

and in session ### Load audio drivers statically

edit line

#load-module module-alsa-sink

to

load-module module-alsa-sink device=hw:1,0

type ctrl+o to save file

type ctrl+x to close

and

reboot system

The audio now ok in Desktop -> Test in youtube on Chromium

Try to do this and post your experience.
!/usr/bin/pulseaudio -nF
It is not normal script !

p.s. Sorry for my english.
