  Wii remote as Lightgun
Posted by: rtokuda - 11-13-2018, 12:15 PM - Forum: RetrOrangePi v4.2 version - Replies (2)

I followed the ideas of this post in German and managed to make the wii remote work in emulationstation and reatroarch, but I can not make the wii remote run as lightgun in games like Lethal Enforces, any ideas?

https://www.retro-programming.de/retro-w...bluetooth/

this is the suggested mapping:

# WiiMote
Wiimote.A      = BTN_A
Wiimote.B      = BTN_B
Wiimote.Dpad.X = ABS_X
Wiimote.Dpad.Y = ABS_Y
Wiimote.Minus  = BTN_SELECT
Wiimote.Plus   = BTN_START
Wiimote.Home   = BTN_MODE
Wiimote.1      = BTN_X
Wiimote.2      = BTN_Y

# Classic-Controller
Classic.Dpad.X   = ABS_X
Classic.Dpad.Y   = ABS_Y
Classic.LStick.X = ABS_RX
Classic.LStick.Y = ABS_RY
Classic.RStick.X = ABS_Z
Classic.RStick.Y = ABS_RZ
Classic.A        = BTN_A
Classic.B        = BTN_B
Classic.X        = BTN_X
Classic.Y        = BTN_Y
Classic.Minus    = BTN_SELECT
Classic.Plus     = BTN_START
Classic.Home     = BTN_MODE
Classic.L        = BTN_TL
Classic.R        = BTN_TR
Classic.ZL       = BTN_TL2
Classic.ZR       = BTN_TR2

# Nunchuk
Nunchuk.C            = BTN_C
Nunchuk.Z            = BTN_Z
Nunchuk.Stick.X      = ABS_TILT_X
Nunchuk.Stick.Y      = ABS_TILT_Y

# LEDs
Plugin.led.Led1 = 1

And..Hotkeys work in this build? Hotkeys don`t work on other wired (Thrustmaster) joystick.

  TFT-CARBON theme for Emulation Station on the Retrostone
Posted by: qu1que - 11-11-2018, 12:02 AM - Forum: Retrostone - No Replies

Hello!

I would like to share with you this theme of Emulation Station that I modified with the idea that you can use it in the retrostone. You could say it's a mix between the TFT and CARBON themes, which can be downloaded independently from the official Retropie page:

https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Themes/

It looks really good on screens 3.5 "as is the case of the Retrostone.

Hope you enjoy it!!

I've created a zip file with installation instructions in English and Spanish, as well as some images so you can see how the theme is.

Here you can download it:

  [solved] Opi PC load ES but freezze
Posted by: RinDim - 11-10-2018, 05:18 PM - Forum: RetrOrangePi v4.2 version - Replies (2)

Installed RoPi v4.2. First stopped on bootscreen. Installed boot.scr & script.bin in /BOOT/. Then it started  until ES.

PS3 controller connected via Bluetooth. Does not respond to button presses.  USB wireless  keyboard works, but reaction to F4 only. Retropi & Ambian, web-interface, LAN...all works. Frozen this screen only. (Everything worked with version 4.1 "from box", but I want update))

I saw that it is possible to configure the Ipega 9025 in the retropie, I tried the retrorange and the bluetooth is recognized, but I can not configure the input in EmulationStation

Sad DESKTOP MODE AUDIO NOT WORKING (4.2 FULL OrangePi PC)
Posted by: Roy - 11-07-2018, 06:58 PM - Forum: RetrOrangePi v4.2 version - Replies (2)

OrangePi PC
RetrorangePi 4.2 FULL version
I found out that the audio doesn't work when I am using the Desktop mode (in Emulationstation it works).

I tried opening some youtube videos on Chromium, no audio.

I checked the volume mixer, and it actually shows the audio "bars", moving according to the music or the video I am watching, but I still get no sound.

The Opi PC is connected via HDMI, using the same cable that I always used with no problems, on every single one of my systems.

Is there an option I should edit to actually get sound working in Desktop mode?

Thanks

  how to modify the switch-off time since the low battery led lights up?
Posted by: qu1que - 11-06-2018, 06:39 PM - Forum: Retrostone - No Replies

Hi,

I am interested in modifying, if possible, the time since the low battery led is lit until the retrostone is turned off. The problem is that sometimes it has happened to me that the LED turns on and after a few seconds it turns off, with the consequent problem that the micro sd card can be corrupted.

It would be possible to increase that time, making the led turn on before, for example when it detects a slightly higher voltage in the battery to which it is currently configured? That way I would have time to properly turn off the console from the Emulation Station menu.

Thank you!
