Hi guys. My emulationstation doesn't want to load anymore. I tried to make updates and change language. Note that my SD card is 100% full. Does anybody know what to do about it?

  Build from source
Posted by: prates - 04-23-2019, 04:35 PM - Forum: RetrOrangePi v4.2 version - Replies (3)

I have a Zero +2 H3 board and RetrOrangePie 4.2 works as expected. Now I would like to make a fresh RetroPie install over stock Armbian Stretch OS, so I can also install other things in this OPi that depends on Stretch. I understand I need to build RetroPie from source. Can anybody point me out what else is required to have a functional RetroPie install? (e.g.: You will need to build drivers for Mali, etc).

  PPSSPP key mapping problem
Posted by: xonn - 04-21-2019, 10:32 AM - Forum: SUPPORT - No Replies

Hello everyone.
I have a problem in PPSSPP emulator only in an especific case: when I configure L-button with button pad2.TouchMinor+ and R-button with pad1.TouchMinor+ the emulator skips some button presses.
Why am I using this configuration? Because my bartop has two buttons on sides for playing pinball games, and those buttons are the most appropiate for it.
If I use another configuration (even if one button belongs to the first player and the other to the second player), it works like a charm...
Does anyone else have this problem or similar?

Thanks for your help

Retroarch does not update to 1.7.6
Posted by: laguna - 04-20-2019, 10:20 AM - Forum: RetrOrangePi v4.2 version - Replies (3)

Hello good day!!  I am not able to update retroarch from the source to version 1.7.6.  I'm using the official retropie scrip that is theoretically ready to bring backarch to version 1.7.6.  However, something fails and I get the following error ... any idea ????  thank you!!!

  Amiberry controls on RetroStone help
Posted by: luckithroe - 04-18-2019, 12:07 AM - Forum: RetrOrangePi v4.2 version - Replies (3)

Hello,

I searched the interwebz but have been unsuccessful finding an easy solution. I was able to get Amiberry installed with AlexKidd's help, but now I am having no luck getting it to work with the keyboard (a rii 8 mini keyboard) or built in RetroStone controller.
This may be in part due to having a hard time seeing the screen due to resolution on RetroStone.

My question is, does anyone have any easy suggestions for getting the controls working and to save (they seem to reset each time), or perhaps have a config file from their RetroStone setup that they'd be willing to share?

P.S. Also after installing Amiberry , it appears UAE4Arm is no longer available as a configuration in the "press a to launch configuration" menu, any ideas why?

Sorry in advance for the n00b question, but... I'm not having much luck so thought I'd give you guys a shot.

Update: Just realized my question is very specific to a device and maybe does not belong on this forum? If so just let me know, I will definitely remove my questions.

  Dragon 32
Posted by: Captcha - 04-14-2019, 10:18 PM - Forum: RetrOrangePi v4.2 version - Replies (7)

I'm aware of a Dragon folder, and placed the rom where it needs to be. I can load basic, but I can't load any of the games after that point. What steps do I need to take in order to load games?  I tried the 'cload' and 'cloadm' commands already; I wouldn't be here if I didn't try everything including looking my problem up.
