  USB roms

Hello everyone,
I have a problem.
After updating to ROPI 4, the ROMs via USB do not work.
I also formatted in fat32, created the retropie-mount folder, Ropi has created all the necessary folders.
So far all right.
But when I launch the roms I return to emulationstation.
In runcommand log there is written
[libretro INFO] Loading / home / pi / RetroPie / roms / nes / Race America (U) .zip ...

[WARN Booklet] An error occurred while loading the file.
[INFO] Environ SET_MESSAGE: ROM loading failed ...
[ERROR] Failed to load content.

the same roms if launch on the SD runs smoothly and also creates the .srm file, while on USB it does not create it.
To end if the USB launches a roms not zip, it starts up.
I thought it was a problem of writing permissions but I can not change them.
Do you have any suggestions?

  HDMI overscan

Got retrorangepi v4.0 but have pretty serious overscan issues on my TV with HDMI. Messed with all the TV's settings and nothing fixes it. On Retropie for RaspberryPi3 I needed to edit the overscan to fix it which I could do with the config.txt in /boot/

Tried using h3disp to change resolution from 1280x720p to 1360x768 also bricked the OS.

I looked around and best I could see was editing the boot-retro.cmd manually and recompiling it. I attempted that twice but both times it bricked my OS as I don't know what I'm doing. What can I do to solve the overscan ?

I use both Raspberry and Orange pi's for emulation projects and wondered if anyone has tried to use the Gamewizard or team zt rc2 code in Retrorangepi?  I love the retropi version allowing users to freely download at own risk, rom packages for installed systems.  If someone has can yoh please pass on the proper script and how to do so.  Thank you.

  Max USB milliwatt load (OrangePi Zero)

The wifi on the Orange Pi Zero is useless for many people myself included,, so I ordered a cheap usb wifi dongle from ebay.

My question is, can the usb port (not on the expansion board) draw how much power?
Page 9 on https://linux-sunxi.org/images/e/e0/Oran...-v1_11.pdf with my amateur analysis indicates the usb port power pins are connected directly to the input otg power supply.

I read these usb wifi dongles often have high power draw, 300ma or more.

  have to rename intellivision roms?

Please be patient i'm still somewhat of a noob.  I got intellivision (jzintv) emulator working but for some reason it appears to be expecting truncated file names.  When I try to run a game it will error out saying it couldn't find any of the acceptable rom files.  ie astrosmash.int etc etc.  When I truncate the rom file it will work.  ie. astrosmash (world).int -> astrosmash.int.  Is this just how it is or am I missing something to make it work without renaming the files?

  Ropi4 crashes

So I have ropi4 installed on a orange pi PC + 
And it will crash on boot. Randomly freeze while in the menu. It's pretty much useless.
I have done a clean install from ropi 3 IMG and then did a install using ropi4.sh 
Has anyone else been having these issues? Do you know how I can fix it?

  Help key mapping an N64 USB controller

Hi,

I wasn't able to get my SNES USB controller to properly work with the N64 games--I followed the guide to use the D-pad as analogue stick but it didn't work. Now I have an N64 controller and was hoping someone could help me properly map the keys to be able to play the N64 games.

I'm using RetrOrange Pi 3.0.
