how to fix screen black bar at bottom AV orange pi zero - jamespoo - 05-26-2018

on my orange pi zero the screen is not fulled up my tv is pal and im using the pal image please help its so annoying

we'll add another option to the Audio Video Selector soon. For now, you can edit the config file with:

sudo nano ~/RetrOrangePi/BashTool_ROPI_RCA/Tool/bashFiles/main.SH
(case sensitive)

locate the PAL video section
replace value 448 by 544
Press Ctrl X to exit, confirm save with Y

Back to EmulationStation, run the Audio Video Selector from RetroPie - RetrOrangePi menu, it will reboot and fix the aspect (hopefully)

thanks so much its fixed now ty

edit it cut off a little on left and right of screen

Reduce 672 to 664 or 656 then increase x value in /etc/rc.local. Increasing by 5 or 10 should do, it moves the screen to the right a little.
