RE: WiFi Dongle - alexkidd - 08-29-2018

boot with an ethernet cable and run "sudo apt-get install firmware-realtek" , maybe it will add the needed driver, i'm not sure
if it's too complicated for you, i can update the image soon

RE: WiFi Dongle - JohnnyPi - 08-30-2018

I’m using an Edimax WiFi dongle and can connect to my network and transfer files just fine but I can’t seem to get a connection out to the internet. Feel like I’m close but just missing something. Thanks!

RE: WiFi Dongle - alexkidd - 08-30-2018

run "sudo ifconfig" and check which is the wireless interface, for example 'wlan1' or 'ra0'

change configuration with "sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces", replace wlan0 by the given interface. Close file with Ctrl X, then save and "sudo reboot".

edit: this should work in the v4.2 FULL. The previous slim have issues with DNS resolving.

This worked! Thank you much. (rock paper scissors)
