OpiPC, 4.2 FULL, Kodi can't find any USB device - Roy - 12-31-2018

Hi, as the title says, yesterday I found out that in the 4.2 FULL release, if you start KODI and then try to open a file on a USB pendrive, for example, a video file, you can't even find the USB.

I tried the same pendrive on the 4.1 release, and it works perfectly, Kodi finds the usb drive and you can navigate into it, so the problem is not the pendrive.

If this is true, Kodi is almost completely useless in 4.2 FULL, cause it can't find any USB device connected to the OrangePi. Sad

Any idea?

v4.2 has the automount feature (mountpoint on /home/pi/RetroPie), so a 'roms' folder in the root of the pendrive will work on ES
You can mount manually from command line as well or youn can remove the mount feature by editing /etc/rc.local. also run 'sudo apt install usbmount'
