Where does 432 come from?
For me setting to 528 MHz solved the crashes.
Are there devices for which 528 is not enough?

One advise, do it first and reboot strait.
For overscan it s just a little little bit on retroarch core. i will see what i can do but it s the ratio where the screen look the best. I think on custom we could have a better screen position but the image aspect look less good.

Ok. Btw, 528 works great, is there some specific reason to use 432 instead?
And, do you mean the command should be input straight after 1st  boot?
Regarding overscan, it really depends on the system - for most it is ok, but for gb, gba and nes,  it really shows (score bars for instance, are half visible ). Activating retroarch video setting "integer scale" sometimes helps, though it reduces the display size dramatically.

So for Dram i have now same issue as you (i can't change it). i haven't find what s wrong allready Sad
for screen size / overscan i found better settings.

Extract this file to "/opt/retropie/configs/all/" as pi user:
https://mega.nz/#!UdhRSYYb!G5YQ12uJcldhc...872xDliRGM

or go to options -> retroarch -> right -> video
aspect ratio : custom
X_pos : 21
Y_pos : 17
width : 677
Height : 453

save current config then exit

This may be due to the sd card quality - I couldn't get anywhere with the SD card shipped with the retrostone. Now I'm using a quality SD card and I get much better results. Also, make sure the retrostone is fully charged, it reduces the rate of failed boots.

Keep trying ; I had to re-flash mine 3 times before I could get it to work.
Also, did you follow alexkidd advice? Make sure to format the SD card as FAT32 with AOMEI (if you're using windows) before flashing. For flashing, you can use Etcher, it's been working quite good with me.
And make sure the Retrostone is fully charged, especially for the first boot (partition size is upgraded during first boot, if this fails the SD is almost unusable and you'll have to re-flash).
I know this is irksome, but the booting problems are more or less affecting everyone - I hope alexkidd (or someone) will come up with a solution some day.
