have you a solution for the problem?

no, resolution is set in emu.cfg x11 section, so it wont change in current version (framebuffer). We'll probably move to x11 (desktop) reicast into next version, where widescreen was tested fine.

when iam use framebuffer i have the problem the display stretch not the Screen i have a small window

have you a solution for that?

when iam set in emu.cfg x11 section a resolution, its dont work! i can set 1920x1080 and become 640x480

have you make it with USE_X11=1 ?

reicast binary was not compiled for X11 so it wont work by changing emu.cfg

mine scales automatically from 640x480 to something like 960x720 so its fullscreen with black bars

Reicast is not very good at scaling or changing framebuffer resolution (mali gpu is a PITA).

Until we release the x11 binary (which seems to work better with resolutions), i recommend what works for me: system at 1280x720 and emu.cfg at 640x480 .

the emu.cfg has no effect! look at reicast.sh this grap only controlerconfig and audio settings no video options!

i have tested with a fresh installed retrorangepi 3 and 4.2 to change the resolution up and down has no effect...

i have readed in the odroid community that it is necessary to install with x11 command to use the settings
