Sometimes OTG doesn't resume on rtc event
#1
Hi all!

I've been using rtcwake and similar utilities since the early 2000 and now that I have my OPI ONE up and running I would like to use rtcwake with it too.
On Armbian (and RetrOrange too) It's working out of the box:

Code:
pi@RetrOrangePi:~$ sudo rtcwake -m mem -s 30
rtcwake: assuming RTC uses UTC ...
rtcwake: wakeup from "mem" using /dev/rtc0 at Thu Jan  1 00:14:10 1970
pi@RetrOrangePi:~$
but I found an issue with OTG port (usbhost0): on resume sometimes doesn't works.
Even if on dmesg is marked as resetted and up and running.
Code:
[   88.744030] usb usb1: root hub lost power or was reset
[   88.744217] usb usb4: root hub lost power or was reset
[   88.744785] usb usb2: root hub lost power or was reset
[   88.754063] usb usb3: root hub lost power or was reset
[   88.784078] usb usb7: root hub lost power or was reset
[   88.804080] usb usb6: root hub lost power or was reset
[   88.814055] usb usb5: root hub lost power or was reset
[   88.814066] usb usb8: root hub lost power or was reset
[   89.120073] usb 2-1: reset high-speed USB device number 2 using sunxi-ehci
[   89.450084] usb 5-1: reset full-speed USB device number 2 using sunxi-ohci
Funny thing, when happens a reboot doesn't resolve: my OPI needs a power cycle to back to normal.
What do you use to suspend and resume at specific time or to set alarms?

Thanks,

F.
