OrangePi 3 Version (not available, no GPU drivers)
#1
Wondering if anyone is working on an official (or WIP) version of OrangePi 3?  I'm going to try the 4.2 SLIM Armbian Orange Pi 2 distro, but I'm not 100% convinced it will work.

Also, is there a way to install it onto the hard drive so you can boot from HD rather than SSD/MMC?

Thanks!

it wont work, there are no drivers for Orange Pi 3 yet.

i think the best way is a information thread Smile before many user make new threads ^^

hahaha, nobody reads! :p

will do anyways

I am optimistic ^^

make a provocative theme like "now support for new boards" and in the thread write you the boards what have support and what is wip and what is not supported

An "Important" thread ont the top of the board with supported boards and progress in support will be very appreciated.
And maybe another one with all the progress of Retropie Setup.
with info of Package Version and time
For example
Amyberry V 5.0   13/08/2020

Of course will require time but maybe the thread can be visible only from people that donated money.
This should move more lazy people to donate money and will create maybe less request
People will know quicky if they have the latest version or not.
I often take a look to https://github.com/retr0rangepi/RetroPie...its/master
so if my amiberry doesn't compile and i see Fix Amiberry installation script is a good idea to try to recompile again.
But many updates like "Merge pull request RetroPie#2532 from lazd/splitwolf " are not so easy to understand.

And it will be easy to understand if you have the latest PPSSPP version or not.
PS. Wich is the latest PPSSPP version for RetrorangePI? Wink

Thanks
Enrico.

its all very time consuming, now we're focusing on testing the new kernel, updating content etc. Anyway, hope to work on the forums and website too

still not a solution
Android HW acceleration is builtin , no redistribution license for drivers
and we have no idea how to port them
