OrangePi 3 Version (not available, no GPU drivers)

I understood you were asking for basic instructions how to do a H6 version, btw  I thought it would be much better than H3, as we have most platforms running full speed as well. By the performance of PSP God of War, people will be frustrated when its available, if there is no improvement.

H5 is still not working, A64 partially (too many retropie scripts based on 32 bit architecture). No release date, maybe a month, maybe weeks

right you say it the performace in 3D games need a good gpu and the mali 720mp2 from H6 is not much fast than the mali400mp2
a hope is the mali450mp4 from h5... here is the driver the problem right?

for the A64 64Bit  look@raspberry pi3 here is the same architecture cortex-A53 ARMv8! i think the scripts from that must work and the mali400mp2 runs with the driver right?

the tested GoW on PSP is a hard title Odroid XU4 with MP6 mali runs the game with 100%speed in 1x resolution and the soc have many power. Xu4 runs other PSP titles in 4x - 6x resolution!
Orange Pi PC runs GoW with 10-20% with frameskip and other hacks

the kernel module builds ok and it's loaded, but there are errors in running content like retroarch:

ERROR] [Video]: Cannot open video driver ... Exiting ...

[ERROR] Fatal error received in: "init_video()"

still debugging...

H5 is a hard rock ^^

.. in retroarch github i have found the same problem with a fix
https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/7119
https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/pull/7729/files
I do not know if it has already been integrated in the last version

We're using Mali module whereas in Mesa development there are issues as well
we're watching closely both projects

di you say XU4 run 100% speed, how do you tested it?

@HnAw

i have a Odroid XU4 with OGST-Case, there is a separate retropie version named The Retro Arena(http://odroidarena.com/)
And i make for the guys graphics and design, iam in development team.

Almost everything runs on it PSP@
High Resolution 1x up to 6x resolution (only GoW needs 1x resolution)
Dreamcast Fullspeed all runable Games!
Naomi/Atomiswave (Sega Arcade)
Sega Saturn the most games runs @ 60FPS

PPSSPP has an option to show FPS and SPEED
RetroArch hast an FPS Option (Onscreen Display)
Dreamcast runs on the Odroid with normal reicast and lr-reicast!
Normal Reicast has many bugs and crash with many games but it is better for slow soc
lr-reicast run 90% off all Dreamcast games, many option for graphic and console specific (i have a runable version for Orange PI!)

The distribution need many fixes the guys work hard to fix the problems, in couple of days come a new version
And the other side the board is not cheap in europe 80 euros for the board, 30 euros for the case, 20 euro for 6A power supply, a SD-Card or eMMC and when you need a Hard Disk come this additional
all in all with shipping calculate 180-200 euros
You see the board can play all possible platforms for ARM from retropi (exclusive GameCube, Wii, PS2, this is only for x86! PC)

i have tested many SoC´s i think for 3D Game is most important a GPU with many Cores and a good driver support!
that's why h5 would be a good value for money solution, the most boards have 1 or 2 core graphics and the H5 has 4Cores

ASUS Tinker Board has also 4cores, here is the problem the price and the driver support from rockchip (80 Euros)
ROCKPro64 has 4cores, the guys from RetroArena works on support for that, the problem to expensive (100 Euros)
Odroid Xu4 has 6cores, the problem to expensive (80 Euros)
