For those missing the GPIO installer, please open a terminal window and run:
1. wget http://www.retrorangepi.org/ropi3_gpio.tar.gz
2. tar -zxvf ropi3_gpio.tar.gz
3. return/restart ES
4. go to Retropie section, GPIO installer should be available, select and install and
5. reboot
OR
install it directly
3. cd RetroPie/retropiemenu/GPIO_controller-for-retrorangepi
4. ./install.sh
5. reboot
As stated in the pinned post, we dont have GPIO controllers, so this is not really tested. Please report. You must have internet access for apt-get install

@ericktarzia --> Thanks for putting this code together.  I modified it and forked your github site to add an additional 2 buttons to each player for a total of 10 each vs. 8 each to fully utilize the GPIO and allow for some dedicated coin switches as well.
