Keeping up with the forum posts, found a good surprise from one of our users: a new GPIO controller for ROPi. For those able to test, please do so:

https://github.com/pjmcardle/GPIO_contro...trorangepi

GPIO_controller-for-retrorangepi - forked version to allow 4 more button inputs to allow for 10 buttons per player vs. the original 8 per player

Good evening!

Has anyone tested? I'm going to test with an orangipi pc that I installed inside an arcade control I set up. There I put it right.

Well im frustrated, i try all the 3 methodes of this thread and no one works on mi opi zero + retrorangepi 3.0.1 , i have mi gpio conected and doesnt work system dont recognize a controller.

y try the 8 buton mode, the pjm 10 button, y reinstall and restart so many times and nothing.
Y try to , go on desktop and python folder but that folder doesnt exist, then any of 3 methodes work for me...

im very desesperated, any suggestion?

PD: on ropi 4.x v can include by default on the system pre-installed gpios working please? its be a very very usefull thing...
